I see you do a lot of weddings! Do you also perform other types of events? Yes! Grand Avenue Band performs anywhere there is a party. We play festivals, galas, retirement and anniversary parties, fundraisers, company celebrations, corporate events, your dog’s sweet 16th birthday, or most any other type of gathering you can imagine.

What are kind of packages do you offer? We offer a 5-piece set-up (no horns), 6-piece set-up, 7-piece set-up and an 8-piece set-up; all set-ups include sound and lighting equipment, DJ services for between sets (you can select your songs or we can select for you), MC (master of ceremonies) to ensure all your formal events run smoothly, and one online or in-person consultation plus limitless email consultation for reception/event services. All set-ups include male and female lead vocalists, guitars, piano/keys, percussion and various other instruments depending on song selection and set-up size.

Most of our packages start at 4 hours live plus one hour of DJ services as long as it is in the same room as the dancing. You can add an additional hour of band play or unlimited hours of DJ services.

Add-on cocktail hour performers include solo piano, solo guitar, singer with piano, singer with guitar or DJ services.

We’re happy to consider other requests so if you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask!

Will you learn a song for my event? The band is willing to learn one complimentary special song per event with two conditions: 1) It’s a song one of our vocalists can perform well. Not sounding 100% on our songs is no bueno and can take away from the magic of the moment. 2) It’s a song that’s well-known so that we can play it again for another event. Otherwise we will be glad to play any song from MP3 by the original artist.

You are also welcome to commission songs for the band to learn. Please contact Natalie to discuss song commissions.

Will people really still rave about my event for years to come? Yup. According to our past clients, they really will.

Do you play any specialty/ethnic music? We do! Check out our Songs page for specific songs, but let us know right away if you’d like us to play any specialty music as the band likes to schedule an extra rehearsal prior to playing any specialty songs as we perform them less often than our other music.

What makes you stand out as a band? Many things, but probably that we know that we are so lucky to be performing for some of the most special days of people’s lives and that we are helping them create memories that will last their entire lives. We take everything we do very seriously so that you can have the most fun and memorable night. This band is like a family and your guests will feel the love. We are still close with couples we performed for decades ago!

Have you really been a band since 1999? Yep. We’re one of the O.G.s of the party world. And we are grateful every time we get to play together. Plus, we’re happy to guide you with any questions you may have in order to make the absolute most of your special day!.

Can I pay you in pierogi? We got a mixed reaction on this from the band, three yeses, four maybes... Our booking manager was a hard no.
